To our readers

Dear reader,

We see this study as an invitation to dialogue. During the survey and indepth interviews we heard exceptionally interesting opinions – many of which didn’t find their way into this publication but still deserve a lot of attention.

We realise that though the study provided certain answers, it raises even more questions.

So what are the next steps? Does the situation call for urgent measures, or will life gradually put the right accents all on its own?

There are many other questions as well, which are being widely debated without any adequate answers suggested so far:

1) Does one have to be born with leadership qualities, or is it something that can be learned?

2) Is having a family an incentive or a barrier to build a career for a women? Is it possible to be successful in both areas at the same time?

3) Which glass ceiling is the strongest – the external or internal one?

4) Is there a clear line between stereotypes and actual reality?

You’re welcome to take part in this dialogue. If you’d like to share your opinions about the issues in question, offer a comment or suggestion, please don’t hesitate to contact.
